Sincerely one of the most enjoyable experiences of our trip. Service was marvelous, food was incredible (still drooling), and the margaritas were stellar. Would recommend every time.
Came in with a big party that couldn't really fit in one table but they made it work. Food was excellent and our server offered great suggestions when ordering for the kiddos. Wife and I shared the Mesa Verde Enchiladas with carnitas and a couple beef tamales. Would have loved to have tried some of the soup on offer or the chorizo beans, but I just couldn't convince myself we needed 16oz of them . They were cool with my celiac niece bringing her own meal as well
We stopped here for dinner on a family vacation. The food was so delicious, the servers were very friendly, and the restaurant itself felt fun. Definitely recommend it!
We’re staying in Cortez and decided to try La Casita - Wow!!! So good and the service is wonderful. Food was fresh, portions are huge and so much flavor. Loved their salsa refried beans and chips they served free at seating. My hubby got the shredded chicken tacos and shrimp cocktail. I got a veggie burrito, yum. Their house margarita was delicious too!! Definitely worth the visit, we’ll go back!
Loved it! We were immediately seated and our server was the most friendliest and sweetest man ever! He made us laugh so many times and it was such a welcoming and comfortable vibe here. We had margaritas and I would highly recommend the Cortez. Delicious! We also received complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were still warm and the house salsa was amazing! Everything we ordered was wonderful and we tried the desserts as well. The Churros with ice cream was my favorite and I would pass on the flan. Make sure this is one of your stops! Your belly will thank you!
We were a little unsure when the parking lot appeared mostly empty, but we're so glad we ate here! The waitress was lovely. She was friendly, engaged with our kids, and clearly wanted to make our experience positive. The food and drinks were also good. I especially enjoyed my crunchy taco with a homemade shell. The bean dip with the chips and salsa was also quite tasty and unique. We'd definitely eat here again! The only somewhat negative piece was being charged for our kids' juices when their kids meals said they came with a drink. We chose not to bring it up as my guess is their choice of juice wasn't included in the kids meal and our overall experience was positive, so we paid the additional amount. It would be helpful though if the kids menu listed the drink options that are included in the meal.
Great food! Tried the Mole enchiladas and it was very tasty! I would definitely order again and recommend you try! Salsa is great, chips fresh. I think you would enjoy La Casita as we did.
Passing through town on a motorcycle trip. This place is the real deal. Excellent service, fair prices, and delicious food. I’m a salsa snob and their salsa is a top 3 ever for me. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back when I am in town.
